CONSUMER STATES WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT ANY SPEED AND WITH NO WARNING VEHICLE GOT SHUT OFF, CAUSING CONSUMER TO PULL OFF THE ROAD. DEALER HAS INSPECTED VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES, AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK

THE PUSH ROD FAILED WITH NO OTHER ENGINE WARNINGS WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX. 65MPH. OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE IS THAT I'VE PUT 5 ALTERNATORS IN IT, THE 5TH COMING AT 79,000 MILES. CONSUMER PURCHASED VEHICLE ON FEB. 14, 2000 FROM USED CAR DEALER. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHO FOUND OUT THAT ENGINE WAS MESSED UP BECAUSE THE RODS WERE SHOT, 3-7-2000 LESS THAN 30 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER. DEALER TOLD CONSUMER THAT IT WAS BOUGHT IN THE SHAPE IT WAS, AND IT WAS CONSUMERS PORBLEM. *AK
