THIS COMPLAINT CONCERNS THE FAILURE OF THE BRAKES ON BOTH THE 2005 VESPA 200GT AND T HE 2007 VESPA 250 GTS. THE EXHAUST SEAL ON BOTH OF THESE SCOOTERS/MOTORCYCLES DISINTEGRATED/INCINERATED WHICH CAUSED THE HOT EXHAUST TO FLOW OUT ONTO THE BRAKE LINE. WHEN THIS HAPPENED THE BRAKE LINE RUPTURED. THIS CAUSED THE BRAKE LINE TO LOSE PRESSURE WHICH THEN PREVENTED THE REAR BRAKES FROM FUNCTIONING. IN ESSENCE ,THE REAR BRAKES FAILED ONCE THE EXHAUST CAUSED THE RUPTURE OF THE BRAKE LINE. WHEN THIS BRAKE FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE 2005 VESPA GT I WENT TO THE VESPA DEALER IN COLUMBUS,OH AND ASKED FOR THE PARTS TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE SCOOTER WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THE DEALER SAID HE COULD SEND ME A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM, BUT ALL I NEEDED WAS THE SEAL. HE SAID HE WOULD TRY TO GET THE SEAL AND WOULD SEND BOTH TO MY HOME IN CHARLESTON,...
