Defect: PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2020 Peterbilt 220 vehicles equipped with Meritor 14Xe ePowertrains. The stator assembly wires may have been insufficiently crimped, causing high resistance, overheating, and preventing the high voltage system from starting.
Consequence: A loss of power to the system may cause loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: PACCAR has already inspected and replaced the stator parts on the affected vehicles. Owners may contact Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220. PACCAR's number for this recall is 21PBH.

46-066 — ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
On certain Peterbilt Model 220EV Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), timer 2 for the HED® Telematic device may malfunction inside the cab harness. Due to this malfunction, the fuse for the telematic device is being triggered. If fuse has blown, the timer may malfunction.
34-090 — EXTERIOR LIGHTING
A frame mounted left-hand marker light bracket interferes with the rear fuel tank fill location. A redesigned bracket can be purchased that relocates the marker bracket to the front fuel tank bracket to eliminate interference.
