HEADLIGHTS FLICKERED OFF AND ON, WOULD NOT STAY ON AT NIGHT. HAD AT LEAST ONE FLASH (OFF THEN ON WITHIN ONE SECOND PERIOD) EVERY TIME I DROVE IN THE DARK. ONE TIME IT FLASHED CONTINUOUSLY. AFFECTED ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. I NOTIFIED DEALER AND ALSO CALLED OLDSMOBILE. DEALER REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR, SAID THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO LOW VOLTAGE WHEN AN AIR PUMP NEAR THE ALTERNATOR TURNED ON.*AK
