WHILE ON A ROAD TRIP TO TENNESSEE, 1.5 HOURS AWAY FROM OUR DESTINATION WE STOPPED AT A GAS STATION. WE TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION OF THE TRUCK AND THE TRUCK KEPT RUNNING. ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ALSO CAME ON AT ONCE. WE COULD NOT TURN THE CAR OFF BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR KEPT THE CAR RUNNING. A CHECK OF THE COMPUTER AT AN O'REILLY AUTO PARTS DID NOT SHOW ANY COMPUTER WARNING CODES. SINCE WE DID NOT WANT TO BE STRANDED 8 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME, WE DECIDED TO DRIVE BACK HOME. WHILE ON THE FREEWAY, THE TRUCK'S ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. WE HAD NO POWER STEERING OR POWER BRAKES. WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT TO THE SHOULDER AND RESTART THE TRUCK. WHILE DRIVING IT OFF OF THE EXIT RAMP, THE TRUCK DIED AGAIN. WE TRIED GOING TO ANOTHER AUTO PARTS STORE...
