CONSUMER HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT TRANSMISSION AND DRIVETRAIN WORKING ERATICALLY WHEN AIR CONDITIONER OR HEATER IS ON. IT MAKES DRIVETRAIN SHIFT IN AND OUT OF OVERDRIVE. TRANSMISSION IS IN AND OUT OF GEARS. CONSUMER HAS CHECKED OTHER NISSAN OWNERS IN OTHER STATES, AND THEY HAVE MENTIONED THE SAME PROBLEM. *AK
ONGOING PROBLEM WITH ENGINE STALLING WHILE TRAVELING VEHICLE BEEN IN/OUT OF DEALER SHOP ON THREE OCCASIONS, AND PROBLEM CANNOT BE DUPLICATED OR CORRECTED. THIS PROBLEM HAS CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. *AK FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED AND DEALER STATED AN EXHAUST LEAK CAUSING CARBON BUILD UP IN O2 SENSORS WERE CAUSING STALLING, HOWEVER AFTER REPAIRS VEHICLE STILL STALLS. CONSUMER CAN SMELL A GAS ODOR OUTSIDE VEHICLE. TRANSMISSION LEAKS, DEALER FOUND PAN HAD A HOLE, DEALER REPLACED PAN AND GASKET. *SLC

THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REBUILT FOR THE 2ND TIME. SOME REBUILDER TOLD ME THAT SOMEHOW THIS MODEL TRANSMISSION IS GRINDING THE ROTORS OUT. IS THERE A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. THANK YOU. *AK
