TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN FRONTIER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPARE TIRE HOLDER FAILED CAUSING THE TIRE TO RUB AGAINST THE TRUCK BED. AS A RESULT, THE TIRE LOST TREAD AND EXHIBITED SCRAPES ON THE SIDE WALLS. IN ADDITION, THE VALVE WAS MADE OF RUBBER CAUSING THE TIRE MONITOR TO BE UNABLE TO READ THE TIRE PRESSURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. UPDATED 5/11/15*CN
