I’ve had to replace the battery three times in three years that I’ve owned the vehicle I purchased it used. The transmission jerks like it’s slipping. It has done this ever since I purchased it no recalls on transmission. The side door airbag sensor is defective. The airbag light flashes on the dashboard took it to the new Nissan dealership was gonna cost five to $7000 for the sensor so that airbag will not deploy in the driver side door. I had a 2010 Nissan Armada airbag sensor went out and the steering wheel and it was outrageous to replace that airbag sensor no recalls I will never buy a Nissan Armada again.. I have had all maintenance and upkeep completed at the dealership on my vehicle. Why is there not a transmission recall an airbag recalls on these vehicles?

The middle section of lights in the instrument panel has been blinking on/off intermittently for about two weeks. This makes it difficult to see your speed while driving at night and it's distracting, which causes me to take my eyes off the road for longer than I consider safe. Also, intermittently the truck hesitates to start, today it had to be towed to the dealer. After the diagnosis, I was told the Instrument Cluster Assembly should be replaced to resolve the light panel issue and the starter needs to be replaced. I find it surprising that the instrument panel would go out so soon. I wonder if this is connected to the previous intermittent BCI (Backup Collision Intervention) malfunction lights on the dash issue I had a few years ago. Additionally, I've had to replace the battery in the truck three times in the last four years since I purchased...

When pressing button to start, car gets stuck mid turn on and shakes. Doesn’t fully turn on and continues shaking. Button stops working. After multiple presses eventually turns car back off. Sometimes happens twice in a row or will start after the shaking on off.

Was driving on a smooth road when suddenly airbag light on dash came on flashing. All the steering wheel buttons are working. Brought car to mechanic's shop to scan obd2, no dtc codes. Mechanic says they don't know what it is without a code. Nissan has been shady lately with technical service bulletins TSB instead of recalls. TSB according to Nissan hq is a repair at the discretion of the dealer meaning that they do not have to repair it even while it was under warranty. I had some piston slapping noise and burning smell coming from engine bay while under warranty the dealer Mechanic said," the noise is normal that of a suv and the burnt smell was the peanut packing oil burning off the outside of the engine". There was a TSB put out a few months later saying that Nissan acknowledged a defective short block in the...

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the vehicle made ticking noises during start-up. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a misfire in cylinder # 7, and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered to cover 50% of the repair cost. The contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin: 19-057A (Engine Knock Or Tick Noise); however, the vehicle was not covered by the TSB. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000.

The engine is failing on many Nissan vehicles with the Nissan VK56VD (gasoline V8) engine. Cylinder 7 on the engine has significant scouring, and there is a Nissan Technical Service Bulletin (NTB19-057a) indicating this problem is widespread among 2017-2019 Nissan Armada, NV, Titan, and Titan XD models. This is a major safety concern. When there is a problem with the engine, the vehicle may stall, lose power, or even catch fire. If a driver loses the power from the engine while driving, or is unable to accelerate as expected, the vehicle could be at risk of getting hit, seriously injuring the occupants of all vehicles involved. The problem has been diagnosed, reproduced, and confirmed by Kline Nissan in Maplewood, MN. The vehicle was inspected by Kline Nissan. Diagnosis details attached, along with borescope photo showing significant scouring in Cylinder 7. Repair action is a new engine short block. My vehicle...

my car won't crank or if it does it takes several attempts. I was told it was the brake light switch. I will be taking it back to the dealer ASAP.

THE TRANSMISSION IS SHIFTING INCORRECTLY AT LOW RPMS. I CAN CLEARLY SEE THE RPM FLUCTUATING ESPECIALLY GOING UPHILL. THIS HAPPENS 30-50 MPH.LACK OF POWER/ACCELERATION. FEELS LIKE TRANSMISSION IS SHIFTING IN LOWER GEARS TOO SOONER AND AND WON'T ACCELERATE UNTIL DRIVER PUSHES SIGNIFICANTLY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY MAKING TURNS AT STOP LIGHTS.

WENT TO START MY VEHICLE AND EVERYTHING BUT THE ENGINE WOULD START. TRIED FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, LOCKED, UNLOCKED CAR THEN LEFT IT ALONE FOR 5 MINUTES AND IT FINALLY STARTED. THEN, LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, WHILE I WAS DRIVING, THE BCI MALFUNCTION WARNING AND A BUNCH OF OTHER LIGHTS CAME ON AND CAR SLOWED DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY. HAD TO PULL OVER, LOOK UP THIS WARNING AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS OTHERS WHO HAD THIS SAME ISSUE DID. I TURNED VEHICLE OFF, WAITED A MINUT AND TURNED IT BACK ON. WARNING CLEARES. THE NEXT MORNING MY CAR WOULDN'T START. HAD TO SWAP CARS WITH HUSBAND SO I COULD GET TO WORK. THIS MORNING I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT WOULDN'T START. I'VE NOW BEEN WAITING 3 HRS FOR A TOW TRUCK TO GET VEHICLE. VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 40K MILES AND IS A 2017 MODEL.

VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY DISPLAYS A BLI MALFUNCTION AND DECELERATES THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT OCCASIONALLY DOES IT WHILE IDLING AND WILL NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO BE PUT IN GEAR. WHEN IT HAPPENS AT START UP, IT WILL NOT ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO START AND ONLY ACTIVATES THE ACCESSORIES. THE INCIDENTS BEGAN HAPPENING AT AROUND 55,000 MILES AND HAS BEEN CONTINUOUS AND INCREASING IN FREQUENCY SINCE 6/20/20

CAR GAVE A BCI MALFUNCTION WARNING ON DASH. WHEN I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND WENT TO RESTART IT WOULD NOT RESTART. THIS USED TO HAPPEN ONCE EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS. IT IS NOW HAPPENED MORE THAN 10 TIMES IN THE LAST TWO DAYS.SOMETIMES THE CAR WILL START OTHER TIMES I HAVE TO TRY 15 TIMES OR MORE BEFORE IT STARTS.

FROM SLOW STARTS, THE TACHOMETER WILL FLUTTER AND THAT HESITATION IS TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE DRIVETRAIN TO THE WHEELS.
