I FOUND A CRACK ACROSS THE CASTING AT THE PINCH BOLT AREA OF THE LOWER LEFT FORK LEG. THIS PART OF THE LOWER FORK IS THE CLAMPING POINT FOR THE FRONT AXLE. *JB
I NOTICED THAT BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT AXLE PINCH CLAMP CASTINGS ARE BROKEN. THIS OCCURRED EVEN THOUGH THE BIKE HAS NOT BEEN THROUGH ANY TRAUMA AND THE ONLY TIRE CHANGE AND WHEEL REMOVAL WAS DONE BY A CERTIFIED MOTO GUZZI MECHANIC. *TR
TOO MANY LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE 2009 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO MOTORCYCLE WHEN EQUIPPED WITH FACTORY INSTALLED DRIVING / FOG LIGHTS. THIS MOTORCYCLE NORMALLY HAS TWO LOW BEAM LIGHTS ILLUMINATED WHILE DRIVING, WHEN SWITCHED TO HIGH BEAM THE LEFT SIDE HEADLIGHT IS ILLUMINATED ON LOW BEAM, THE RIGHT SIDE HEAD LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED ON LOW AND HIGH BEAM AT THE SAME TIME AND YOU CAN ALSO TURN ON AND ILLUMINATED THE FACTORY INSTALLED DRIVING LIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME. NORMALLY ON EVERY CAR, TRUCK OR MOTORCYCLE WHEN THE DRIVING OR FOG LIGHTS ARE TURNED ON THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS DROP OUT SO THERE IS NO MORE THAN 4 LAMPS ILLUMINATED AT ONE TIME. ACCORDING TO MOTO GUZZI USA AND MY DEALER IN WILLIAMSBURG, VA THIS SET UP IS LEGAL, THE VA STATE POLICE THINK OTHERWISE. *TR
