TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 MONACO COACH KNIGHT. WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE MOTOR FAILED TO FUNCTION AND ALMOST CAUSED A CATASTROPHIC SITUATION WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO INSPECT AND DIAGNOSE THE MOTOR FAILURE. IN ADDITION, A THIRD PARTY SOURCE INVESTIGATED THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE IF THEY COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
