Defect: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2025 MB II, T-Series, and 2021-2026 G5 school buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.

Consequence: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Defect: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series school buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Consequence: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Defect: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 T- Series, G5, and 2024-2025 MBII school buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver.

Consequence: The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.

The seat reinforcement supports may not have been installed. Consequence: An insufficiently retained seat can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
