Defect: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2012, 2015-2019, and 2024 G5 school buses equipped with Type 2 seat belts. The seat reinforcement supports may not have been installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Consequence: An insufficiently retained seat can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
