AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DETERMINED THE WINDSHIELD/WIPER MOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MOTOR WAS REPLACED. THERE IS AN NHTSA RECALL, #01V258000 VISIBILITY: WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER: MOTOR.
