TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 MERCURY MARINER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRAME WAS SEVERELY RUSTED AND CORRODED WITH HOLES. BROWNELL MOTORS INC IN FISHKILL, NEW YORK WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 103,000.
THE VEHICLE WAS IN A HEAD ON COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE, BOTH TRAVELING 30MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THE DRIVER WAS WEARING THEIR SEAT BELT, AND THEIR NOSE WAS BROKEN DUE TO COLLISION WITH THE STEERING WHEEL. THE AIRBAG NEVER DEPLOYED. *TR
