ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS NOW WHEN WATER GETS INTO THE DOOR (CAR WASH, MELTED SNOW, ETC.) AND THEN TEMPERATURE DROPS, ICE INSIDE THE LATCH MECHANISM PREVENTS THE DOOR FROM LATCHING PROPERLY. THE DOOR WILL ONLY RELATCH WHEN THE ICE IS MELTED, OTHERWISE IT WILL CLOSE MOST OF THE WAY BUT THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT REMAINS ON SINCE IT IS NOT PROPERLY LATCHED. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHERE THE LIGHT GOES OFF AND WE THINK IT IS PROPERLY LATCHED ONLY TO SEE THE LIGHT COME BACK ON AGAIN WHILE DRIVING. *TR
