The contact owns a 2025 Mazda CX-70. The contact stated that the vehicle was included in a recall for the hybrid system software update and was taken to the dealer, where the update was completed. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and coming to a stop, the vehicle lost motive power and turned off. The contact shifted to park(P) and attempted to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was able to restart after several attempts in approximately 15 minutes or more. The contact stated that one morning, the vehicle hesitated to start; however, after several attempts, the vehicle restarted. The contact stated that the vehicle had failed to restart after being driven and parked at the place of employment. The vehicle remained in the parking lot.
