Defect: CRACK MAY DEVELOP ON STEERING ARM THAT COULD PROGRESS AND REDUCE THE FATIGUE LIFE OF THE STEERING ARM.
Consequence: STEERING ARM COULD FAIL WITHOUT WARNING RESULTING IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND POSSIBLY A CRASH.
Remedy: INSTALL A REDESIGNED STEERING ARM.
