Defect: ON CERTAIN HEAVYTRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH TRUCK HUB UNITS MANUFACTURED BY SKF EXCLUSIVELY FOR USE ON ARVINMERITOR'S FF98X SERIES NON-DRIVE STEER AXLES, THE HUB UNIT BEARINGS CAN WEAR PREMATURELY.
Consequence: SEIZURE OF THE BEARINGS CAN CAUSE WHEEL SEPARATION OR WHEEL END FIRE.

Defect: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES HAVE THE BULB IDENTIFICATION FOR THE LOW AND HIGH BEAM REVERSED ON THE FRONT LENS.
Consequence: THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE STANDARD.
Remedy: OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A CORRECT LABEL, ALONG WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
