My MKZ suddenly cut off without warning lamps or messages at highway speed. There was a very quick shudder and all power lost. After pulling onto the road shoulder and waiting a few minutes, it restarted and drove normally. I stopped about 15 minutes later and switched it off. When returning to the vehicle, it would not start. I had it towed to a garage where it has been for 6 weeks. They have been unable to identify the problem and get it restarted. Online reports by others indicate this occurred with other Lincoln products over a span of a few years with no assistance from Lincoln/Ford to identify the problem. This is a HUGE safety issue, as well an immediate personal inconvenience.

REPAIR SHOP HAD TO ORDER PART FROM A LINCOLN DEALER (25 MILES AWAY). THE PART WAS DELIVERED ON TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2013. AFTER REPLACEMENT OF THIS PART ($1,583.73) THE CAR WAS TESTED AND AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2013. ON THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2013, MY NEPHEW DROVE FROM...
