TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 LINCOLN MKZ. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT AND REAR RIMS OF THE VEHICLE WERE CORRODED WHICH CAUSED AIR TO LEAK FROM THE TIRES. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FRONT AND THE REAR RIMS WERE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE FOUR TIRES WERE INFLATED TO THE PROPER AIR PRESSURE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED EVERY TWO WEEKS. THE RIMS WERE NOT REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
