The contact owns a 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle stalled inadvertently. The contact was unable to veer to the side of the road and turned on the hazard lights. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after several minutes; however, the failure recurred every 2 miles. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the failure could not be duplicated; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the fuel rail pressure sensor was replaced; however, the failure persisted while the contact was driving back to the residence. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who informed the contact that the second fuel rail pressure sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
