The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked at the residence, with a passenger in the vehicle, the front passenger’s side seat detached and became unhinged. The contact stated there was no injury sustained. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was determined that the front passenger’s seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was informed to call back in thirty days. The approximate failure mileage was 20,048.
