The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the charging port cover needed to be replaced. The dealer ordered the replacement part; however, the part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
