2025 LEXUS NX Vehicle Speed Control Problems

The contact owns a 2025 Lexus NX 250. The contact stated that while parking in a disabled spot, going forward, the vehicle struck a handicap post during an unintended acceleration, which then crashed into the parked vehicle in front before the contact was able to shift the vehicle into park. The contact stated that the vehicle went over the parking barriers between the spots. The front of the vehicle and the driver's side fender were damaged, and there was property damage from the handicap post. The vehicle came to a stop after hitting the post. The contact then reversed the vehicle and shifted it into park. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred during rainy weather conditions and confirmed that the accelerator pedal was not depressed during the time of the failure. No air bags were deployed.
