SUNROOF EXPLODED AND RAINED PIECES OF GLASS INTO CAR WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY: 1 - WAS NOT STRUCK BY ROCK. THERE WERE NO CARS WITHIN 2 MILES EITHER DIRECTION. 2 - SOUNDED LIKE A LOUD "POP." A LOUD, BUT DULL NOISE - NOT A SHARP SOUND LIKE SOMETHING STRIKING CAR. 3 - THERE IS A HOLE IN THE CENTER OF THE SUNROOF ABOUT 4X8 INCHES WITH THE BROKEN GLASS AROUND THE EDGES POINTING UP - LOOKS LIKE IT EXPLODED UPWARD. THE REST OF THE SUNROOF IS NOW CRACKED SAFETY GLASS. 4 - ROAD WAS SMOOTH HIGHWAY, TEMPERATURE WAS ABOUT 85F, ALL WINDOWS ON CAR WERE CLOSED WITH AC ON. *TR
