The contact’s husband owned a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated while driving at 40 MPH in the rain, she moved into the slow lane as another vehicle was passing her vehicle, the vehicle started sliding back and forth, felt unstable, and was heading towards the median lane. The contact stated that as she extended her body and was moving her dog from the front passenger’s side seat onto the floorboard, the vehicle flipped a total of 8 times and landed upside down. The contact stated that an unknown door of the vehicle flew open in that process. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V387000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The air bags deployed. The contact was able to exit the vehicle. The emergency units arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the contact.
