The contact owns a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Velar. The contact stated that the vehicle was designed with the auto Stop/Start system that allowed the vehicle to turn off while at a complete stop and to restart when releasing the brake pedal and depressing the accelerator pedal. However, while at the stop light, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact noticed that the transmission was in neutral (N). The contact shifted into park(P) and then shifted into drive(D). The contact continued driving however, the failure reoccurred twice on two different occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where an unknown software update was performed; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and remained at the dealer for a month. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure...
