My 2014 Land Rover LR2 HSE STARTED SMELLING STRONGLY OF FUEL IN LATE APRIL,2022. I contacted LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA CUSTOMER RELATIONS ON 5/2/22 about the problem. Cris Willis opened Case# 8000998446 to assist me. He stated it was a recall issue awaiting parts to become active. Then on 6/15 Cris W. contacted me again requesting I make appt. with my local LR dealer and now they could inspect car and replace any defective parts. On 6/21 I messaged Cris that I had made appt. For 6/23. Cris messaged me back that Ft. Myers LR dealer would resolve issue with no problem at all. When I brought my car into service manager. He had my car inspected and found fuel sending unit cover was leaking and needed to be replaced. Cost for fuel sending unit cover and gasket with labor and taxes,etc. would be $1970.09. He said my car had...
