There were no warning lights illuminated. The occupants of the vehicle were also getting wet. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the windshield and sealant needed to be replaced. The windshield was replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE AND OFFERED THE CONTACT MONEY FOR THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
