On March 14, 2024 at approximately 11:40, while driving on a private driveway, which had no other cars or pedestrians on or near it, my vehicle performed its own emergeny braking effort to bring the car to a stop. The standard KIA Emergency Braking warking text displayed on the dashboard declaring the incident. However, no other vehicles or pedestrians were in hundreds of feet of the vehicle or presented a potential obstical that may be crossing in front of the vehcile. The car was traveling approximately 25 MPH and came to a complete stop. It felt as though the engine had frozen and all the wheels locked.

BOTH rear speed sensors have gone bad. One under warranty, one outside. This disables safety speed systems and speed control.

ON FEBRUARY 17, 2021 A VEHICLE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME ON A HIGHWAY CAUSING ME TO SLAM THE BRAKES SO HARD TO AVOID HITTING THE VEHICLE. AFTER THE VEHICLE PROCEEDED ACROSS THE ROAD WHEN I TRIED TO CONTINUE FORWARD MY SORENTO HAD VERY LITTLE POWER NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRIED TO GIVE THE VEHICLE GAS. AS I DROVE SORENTO HOME IT HAD VERY LITTLE POWER. I COULD BARLEY GET VEHICLE TO GO THE 5 PLUS MILES TO MY HOUSE TRAVELING AT LEAST THAN 25 MILES PER HOUR. POSSIBLY LESS THAN THAT AND AS I TRIED TO DRIVE UP THE HILL TO MY HOUSE I BARELY GOT THERE. THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE POWER TO GO UP HILL. AFTERWARDS THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AND STAY ON.. I HAD IT TOWED TO KIA DEALERSHIP WHERE IS HAS BEEN FOR A WEEK.
