TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 KAWASAKI VN2000D1. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE CONTACT MERGED INTO HIS LEFT LANE AND SUDDENLY THE REAR WHEEL CAVED IN, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO FALL DOWN ON ITS LEFT SIDE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED THREE BROKEN RIBS AND CONTUSIONS TO HIS LEFT ARM, ELBOW, SHOULDER, AND LEG. THE POLICE REPORTED TO THE SCENE AND A REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT WAS UNABLE TO ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,645.
