THE BACK TAIL LIGHTS DON'T WORK ON MY 2000 LAREDO JEEP. *TR
N/A *TR UPDATED 01/07/08. *LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE HEADLIGHT SURFACE HAD DETERIORATED CAUSING A FILM WHICH, MUFFLED THE AMOUNT OF LIGHT THROUGH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT ONLY OFFERED A SOLUTION THAT THE CONSUMER WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR. UPDATED 12/12/07
AT 7:20 THIS MORNING WHEN I STARTED THE JEEP, THE HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHTS AND DASH LIGHTS DID NOT WORK. THE HIGH BEAMS WORKED ONLY WHILE I HELD THE SWITCH ON. THEY WOULDN'T STAY ON. TURN INDICATORS WORKED. DROVE SON TO SCHOOL AND CAME HOME. TOOK JEEP MANUAL INSIDE TO LOOK UP FUSES. DISCOVERED THERE ARE SEPARATE FUSES FOR LEFT AND RIGHT SO I DOUBTED IT WAS THE FUSE. DECIDED I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE JEEP TO THE DEALER. WHEN I WENT BACK TO THE GARAGE ABOUT 7:35, THE LIGHTS WERE ON (I HAD LEFT THE SWITCH ON BY MISTAKE, AND THE LIGHTS ON ALARM DIDN'T SOUND WHEN I LEFT THE CAR). NOW WHEN I OPENED THE CAR DOOR, THE LIGHTS ON ALARM BELL RANG. I TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS AND TURNED THEM ON AGAIN. I TURNED ON THE HIGH BEAMS. EVERYTHING WAS WORKING NORMAL.
