Defect: ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH NGI AIR PRESSURE GAUGES LOCATED ON THE DASH PANEL, THE GAUGE IS GIVING A FALSE READING.
Consequence: THIS MAY CAUSE THE PARK BRAKE TO ENGAGE WITHOUT WARNING, THUS THROWING THE PASSENGER FORWARD, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY TO OCCUPANTS.
Remedy: SPARTAN IS CONDUCTING THE OWNER NOTIFICATION AND REMEDY FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. DEALERS WILL INSTALL A HARNESS JUMPER CABLE TO EACH AIR SENDER. OWNERS MAY CONTACT SPARTAN AT 1-517-543-6400 OR JAYCO AT 1-800-283-8267.
