TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JAGUAR X-TYPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE PARKED ON AN INCLINE WITH THE PARKING BRAKE ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE BEGAN ROLLING AWAY IN REVERSE AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THERE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL FOR THE PARKING BRAKE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,500. *TR
