The contact owns a 2008 Jaguar S-Type. The contact stated while driving 35MPH, there was debris on the roadway, which caused a blowout of the front passenger’s side tire. The contact then pulled over on the side of the highway and attempted to change the tire; however, the contact was unable to remove the lug nuts. As a result of the lug nut failure, the wrench provided with the vehicle became inoperable. The contact drove the vehicle with the flat tire back to the residence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with having poorly designed lug nuts. The vehicle was not repaired but was driven back to the residence. The contact's son who is an independent mechanic was able to bring a special machine needed to remove the lug nuts and repaired the vehicle.
