The Electronic Control Unit ABS gave false or partial warnings for years without showing up as the problem during four trips to the dealer over a four-year period. The truck would sound alarm, abs and air pressure low warnings. Then go into save mode and would drive slowly until shut down completely for a new reboot. Then the truck would operate correctly for some time. Right front caliper would set and drag. I had the truck into the shop over and over. This time I was told the complete brake system would have to be replaced, not the unit, just all four corners of brakes and ABS components. After picking the truck up from the shop and driving 19 miles the truck again displayed the exact same notices.
