WARM AIR WAS COMING OUT OF THE VENTS. I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL INFINITI DEALER AND THIS WAS THE DIAGNOSIS. COMPRESSOR : CLUTCH FAILED TO ENGAGE IN COMPRESSOR & THEREFORE I HAD NO AIR CONDITIONING. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE NEW IN OCTOBER OF 2006. IT ONLY HAS 35,800 MILES. THERE IS NO REASON FOR A COMPRESSOR ON ANY CAR TO MALFUNCTION AT 35,000 MILES AND CERTAINLY NOT ON A LUXURY AUTO. PARTS WERE $830, LABOR WAS $369, PLUS TAX. TOTAL COST OF REPAIR WAS $1354.00. I HAVE OWNED CARS MADE BY FORD, GM, TOYOTA, BMW AND HAVE NEVER HAD A COMPRESSOR PROBLEM. I KEPT AN 2002 TOYOTA AND A1996 BMW FOR 10 YEARS WITH NO COMPRESSOR PROBLEMS. *TR
