TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 INFINITI FX45. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V349000 (AIR BAGS) IN JULY OF 2016. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO INFINITI OF APEX (1900 LAURA DUNCAN RD, APEX, NC 27523) AND THE RECALL REPAIR WAS PERFORMED IN MARCH OF 2019; HOWEVER, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT INFORMED THE DEALER BY PHONE AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 118,000.
