All Engine And Engine Cooling Complaints
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A PARKING LOT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, SMOKE ERUPTED FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD AND THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ALERTED, AND EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. THE POLICE WERE NOT ALERTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE FIRE DAMAGE. AN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATOR INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AREA. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT ALERTED.
