LAST YEAR I NOTICED RUST THAT HAD BECOME A GAPING HOLE IN THE LOWER PART- REAR AXLE FRAME OF MY HONDA PASSPORT'S . RECENTLY WHEN I WAS DRIVING REAL AXLE FRAME CRACKED WITH A LOUD NOISE. TEMPORARY WELDING IS DONE . I CHECKED WITH HONDA SERVICE, CAR BODY REPAIR AND LOCAL MECHANIC -NO ONE ASSURED THAT IT CAN BE FIXED. AND FINALLY IT MAKES THE CAR IMPOSSIBLE TO SELL. MY 1999 HONDA PASSPORT HAS A REAR STABILIZER BAR HOLDING THE WHEEL IN PLACE THAT IS WELDED ONTO THE FRAME. THE STABILIZER BAR HAS RUSTED OFF THE FRAME (OR "RIPPED" OFF THE FRAME WHILE I WAS DRIVING), CAUSING THE WHEEL TO BECOME LOOSE. THIS VEHICLE SWERVED ALL OVER THE ROAD UNTIL I GOT IT STOPPED. THE VEHICLE IS UN-DRIVABLE AND WAS TOWED AWAY. THERE WERE NO WARNING SIGNS OF THIS GOING BAD. I AM STILL UNSURE WHAT THE FIX WOULD BE, AS IT IS THE FRAME THAT IS BAD. *TR
