NOT A COMPLAINT. INFORMATION ONLY. MY 1999 HONDA CRV IS A GREAT CAR WITH ONLY MINIMAL NORMAL REPAIRS. DURING A PANIC STOP IN A 45 MPH SPEED ZONE I BROKE A BRAKE LINE GOING TO THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL AND WAS WITHIN MILLIMETERS OF CREAMING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE CAR TO A MECHANIC IT WAS FOUND THAT THE LINE HAD BEEN RUBBING ON THE FRAME AND BECAME WEAKENED AND HAD BROKEN UNDER THE EXTRA PRESSURE. WARNING: HAVE YOUR MECHANIC CHECK YOUR BRAKE LINES TO INSURE THEY ARE NOT RUBBING ON SOMETHING THAT WILL WEAKEN THEM AND CAUSE THEM TO FAIL WHEN YOU REALLY, REALLY NEED THEM.
