I’m filing a complaint regarding a serious safety recall on my 2025 Honda ADV160 (Recall #25V195), which involves a defective oil pump driven gear. This recall can lead to engine seizure and cause the rear wheel to lock, risking crash or injury. I’ve called multiple dealerships to get this resolved, but I’ve been told either the recall doesn’t exist or that I need to “wait for a letter in the mail” and that no parts are available. In the meantime, I’m forced to continue riding this vehicle, which is my daily transportation. This is unacceptable for a known safety issue. I’m concerned about the lack of urgency from Honda, the risk of being injured, and the fact that I am unable to safely operate a brand-new motorcycle I just purchased.
