THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (VOLVO TRUCKS OF OMAHA, 11251 153RD ST, OMAHA, NE) WHERE THE ECU WAS UPDATED AS PART OF A SERVICE CAMPAIGN. AFTER THE SERVICE, THE VEHICLE'S SPEED WOULD NOT EXCEED 40 MPH WITHOUT THE SERVICE INDICATORS ILLUMINATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND A SECOND ECU UPDATE WAS PERFORMED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED AT SPEEDS ABOVE 60 MPH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND NO SOLUTION WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,114.
