Defect: The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2018-2020 front end loader garbage trucks. Excessive vibrations may cause the front head hydraulic tubes to leak.
Consequence: A hydraulic fluid leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Heil will install stabilizing clamps, new hydraulic tubes, and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 30, 2025. Owners may contact Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345.
