REAR BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FAILED CAUSING LEAKING OF REAR MASTER CYLINDER FLUID, LOSS OF REAR BRAKE CONTROL AND ASSOCIATED WIRING CAUGHT ON FIRE. *TR
PLASTIC FUEL TANKS SWELLS. HAS BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES BY HARLEY DAVIDSON, HOWEVER, THE TANKS ARE REPLACED WITH THE SAME ITEM/PART NUMBER. AFTER EACH TANK REPLACEMENT THE SWELLING CONTINUES WITH THE NEW TANK. I AM CONCERNED THAT NOW THAT I AM OUT OF WARRANTY THE TANK WILL NO LONGER BE REPLACED AND THAT EVENTUALLY THE SWELLING WILL LEAD TO CRACKING AND FUEL SPILLAGE WITH A FIRE OR CRASH RESULTING. *TR
THE PLASTIC GAS TANK ON THESE BIKES SWELLS TO THE POINT THE COVERS NO LONGER FIT. HOPING THEY DON'T SWELL TO THE POINT OF LEAKING FUEL. *TR
