Defect: A SHORT CIRCUIT COULD DEVELOP DUE TO POSSIBLE CHAFING WHERE THE BATTERY CABLE IS CLOSE TO THE EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM.
Consequence: BATTERY CABLE MIGHT OVERHEAT AND RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy: REPLACE BATTERY CABLE AND OTHER APPROPRIATE PARTS.
