WHEN PUSHING THE PUSH TO TALK CB BUTTON YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH SHUTTING THE ENGINE OFF DO THE LOCATION OF THE BUTTON. I SHUT THE ENGINE OFF 5 TIMES ON MY LAST RIDE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT MAY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *TR

2004 HARLEY-DAVIDSON ROAD KING. I WAS GOING INTO A SWEEPING RIGHT HAND TURN, THEN THE REAR END STARTED TO WOBBLE AND I COULDN'T CONTROL THE BIKE RAN OFF THE ROAD, WAS TRASHED AND I BROKE TWO RIBS AND A COLLAR BONE. I HAVE OWNED MANY OF THE SAME BIKE OVER 30 YEARS AND HAD WOBBLE PROBLEMS BEFORE BUT NEVER CRASHED. *JB
2004 FLHTCUI HARLEY-DAVIDSON HORN ISSUE. DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY. IT APPEARS THAT NOT ENOUGH POWER IS GETTING TO THE HORN AND IT BECOMES A 50-50 CHANCE THAT THE HORN MIGHT WORK. TOOK IT TO THE HD SHOP 3 TIMES AND ALL 3 TIMES THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. THE SECOND TIME I EVEN PAID FOR A NEW HORN AS TO ELIMINATE ONE POSSIBLE ITEM. SAME ISSUE WITH NEW HORN. THE 3RD TIME THE HD SHOP SAID THAT HARLEY-DAVIDSON SAID THAT THE BIKE NEEDS TO BE RUNNING FOR THE HORN TO WORK CORRECTLY. AGAIN THE SHOP COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. EACH TIME I TOOK THE BIKE HOME FROM THE SHOP, THE HORN ONLY WORKED 50% OF THE TIME. HOT, COLD,DRY, WET, LOW SPEED, HIGH SPEED...IT DOESN'T MATTER. THIS STARTED AROUND JUNE, 2005. BIKE IS STILL IN WARRANTY. *NM
THE HORN ON MY 2004 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHTCUI MOTORCYCLE ONLY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. MY DEALER HAS REPLACED THE HORN TWICE, YET THE HORN IS STILL INTERMITTENT. THE FIRST REPLACEMENT ACTUALLY MADE THE HORN MUCH WORSE. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. BECAUSE MOTORCYCLES ARE HARDER TO SEE, I USE MY HORN TO WARN OTHER MOTORISTS OF MY PRESENCE. WHEN MY HORN FAILS TO WORK, THIS CAN CREATE AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT, INJURIES, AND/OR DEATH. *JB
