When the vehicle “fails” during vehicle operation, the vehicle loses propulsion, without prior indication to the rider/passenger, significantly increasing the risk of a crash. This IS a major problem with the new Harley M8 Gen 2 motors.H-D did put out a Service Bulletin on 8/25/25 (M1700) addressing a known manufacturer problem regarding the coil wire failures.
