Throttle Body Failure. Availiable for inspection upon request. This faulty part, a Mikuni 55mm throttle body, which came OEM with my 2023 Harley-Davidson Milwaukee 8 Streetglide FLHX placed me and my Wife in harms way by shutting down the engine rpm while trying to make a left turn on a motorcyle which a rider uses to compensate for the lean needed with turning. Upon restart the engine would not start, leaving me stranded on the road and was towed after many hours on the road without anywhere to get off the road. The safety of others was jeopardized as they had to visually see a motorcycle and react by going around and had to move slightly into the opposite direction of traffic. Harley-Davidson refuses to change their policy to inspect only the faulty part on a bench or send the faulty part back to the original manufactuer for inspection without my vehicle in their possesion and they have a lack of knowledge and tools needed to perform the testing of the faulty throttle body. This fault is believed to be connected with others who have had intermittent problems associated with loss of throttle.
