HORRIBLE ODOR EMITTED THRU VENTILATION SYSTEM. DON'T KNOW IF ASSOCIATED BUT MY FAMILY HAS BEEN ILL WITH ALOT OF RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, WALKING PNEUMONIA (2OUT OF 4) IN SAME WEEK , AND MY 5YR OLD HAS BEEN PLAGUED BY VIOLENT VOMITING. I TOOK YUKON TO MARTIN GMC SAID ODOR WAS PROBABLY CAUSED BY EITHER MOLD/FUNGUS IN THE EVAPORATOR & COILS. THE SMELL IS VERY STRONG AND NAUSEATING . THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS THRU GMC ON THIS PROBLEM. I AM WORRIED ABOUT MY FAMILIES HEALTH SINCE I HAVE CHRONIC ASTHMA AND MY CHILDREN HAVE ALLERGIES. THE DEALER IS GOING TO PUT A COATING OF CHEMICALS ON THE EVAPORATOR COILS THAT WILL (KILL?) MOLD AND FUNUS, THEN THEY WILL INSTALL AN ELECTONIC EVAPORATOR DRYER. I HOPE THIS IS GOING TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND NOT BE JUST A TEMPORARY FIX BECAUSE MOLD IS VERY HARD TO ERRADICATE IF YOU DO...
